The second web application that I reviewed was Teachertube. This web application is incredible, and I have found myself favoring this application over the twenty-four other web applications. Teachertube is a website that allows teachers to share videos, photos, blogs, and other documents. The Job Aid that I have evaluated on Teachertube provides several ways that it can be used in a classroom. One example that I believe teachers would benefit from is that if they are unsure about the lesson they are teaching, they could access Teachertube and see how other teachers have approached the lesson. I think that Teachertube would be a great asset to every classroom. It provides teachers the chance to teach lessons in a different way than they have in their past, and it provides new ideas to beginning teachers as well. After reviewing the Job Aid and lesson plans for Teachertube, I have spent quite a bit of ti

The first web application that I reviewed was Flickr. Flickr is a photo sharing and managing website that allows individuals to upload photos. On the Job Aid that I evaluated for Flickr, there are several educational examples provided on how Flickr can be used in a classroom. One example that boldly stood out to me was that photos of classroom activities could be shared with parents of students. I think that this is a great way to integrate parents into their children's learning community. It truly gives parents a sense of what their child's school day is like. A second example that is included on the Job Aid that I find truly beneficial is that teachers could share photos with other teachers. Sharing ideas and lessons with other teachers through Flickr holds many different advantages. Flickr is an effective tool to use in classrooms, and I would strongly suggest it to any teachers. There were three different web applications to choose from throughout the process of creating an instructional activity. The applications consisted of Glogster, Jing, and Prezi. I did research on all three of the web applications, however, Glogster was my favorite, so that is what I chose to work with.

Each of these web applications would be beneficial in my future classroom because they will allow students to interact with the technology that is available to them and it provides students the chance to focus on a visual representation learning style.

In my future, I would use each of these web applications. I would undoubtedly use Glogster at any time considering it was my favorite; however, I would use Prezi too. I had a rather easy time creating my poster on Glogster. It was a fun experience and I enjoyed working on it. I would recommend all teachers to use it if they ever needed to.
